Nightingale Nurse

Location: Cardiff and the surrounding health boards in South Wales
Duration: Permanent
Hours: Full Time Monday—Friday
Salary: Competitive basic plus Bonus scheme

Nightingale specialises in providing continence assessments to patients in their own homes. We have an extensive range of continence and stoma products and a well-respected team of independent Nurses also providing advice, training and support to patients, carers and healthcare practitioners in the community.

The Role:

  • To provide a specialist Nursing Service for patients requiring Continence and Stoma Appliances
  • To maintain and grow the Nightingale Home Delivery Service
  • Retain existing relationships with Healthcare Professionals as well as generate new relationships with the local Continence and Community Nursing Services.
  • To carry out individual appliance assessments and subsequent follow ups and support
  • Grow patient numbers using Nightingale Home Delivery Service across your defined region
  • To achieve and exceed company targets and KPIs as defined by the National Sales Manager
  • To maintain clear and concise documentation, and ensure all relevant information is documented as per Company Policy, completing Appliance Use Reviews (AURs) when applicable
  • Planning daily/weekly/monthly timetables and reporting to the National Sales Manager
  • Attend quarterly Company meetings
  • Organise and attend Study Days, Exhibitions and Conferences to maintain CPD
  • Maintain NMC Membership and ongoing revalidation

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, candidates will need to meet the following requirements:

  • A desire to specialise in continence care
  • Passionate and motivated to make a difference
  • Requisite nursing qualifications
  • A good general knowledge about catheter care and sheath fitting
  • The ability to learn and develop quickly
  • Happy to work as part of a team as well working alone
  • Must hold a full UK clean driving licence and be a confident driver
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with both patients and Healthcare Professionals
