Nightingale Nurse Advisor

Area Covered: Newcastle, Carlisle and Galashiels

Claire Reynolds qualified as an Adult Nurse in 2011 and has recently worked for the NHS 111 service as a Clinical Advisor. Claire joins Nightingale with 3 years experience of working in the community, where she undertook all aspects of Continence Care.

Claire brings with her a great interest in Continence and Urology and looks forward to continuing to develop her knowledge and interest as part of the Nightingale team.

Sam Riddell is our National Sales Manager and oversees both the Nightingale Nurses and the Great Bear Territory Managers.

Di Groom
Senior Nightingale Nurse Specialist

Area Covered: South West England

Being a qualified General Nurse for over 30 years in South Wales, Di has always worked within Urology and the Continence field. After getting her Nursing Degree, her specialty became Urology in Bridgend Hospital as a Urology Nurse Practitioner. 13 years ago, Di left the NHS to join Nightingale in Cardiff to specialize in a community advisory role as part of the independent sector. She hasn’t looked back since!

Di covers the South West area and always aims to give the highest level of Nursing care to ensure her Patients are advised of the most appropriate continence product for them.

Jan Wrigglesworth
Senior Nightingale Nurse Specialist

Area Covered: North England: Leeds, York, Bridlington, Scarborough, Halifax, Huddersfield & Harrogate

After training at the General Infirmary at Leeds between 1974 and 1977, Jan Wrigglesworth went on to become a District Nurse in the Leeds area until 1990. During this time, she became interested in Continence and attended various local continence courses. In 1990, Jan joined the Thackray organisation and became a Thackray Nurse, completing the Appliance Practitioner Course and the ENB978 Promotion of Continence Course.

It was in 1996 that Jan joined Nightingale, and although there have been numerous changes Jan still finds it allows her to take a completely unbiased approach towards products and Patients.

To keep herself up to date on new ideas and products, Jan regularly attends national Continence based conferences.

Cheryl Alsop
Nightingale Nurse Advisor

Area Covered: North England: York, Bridlington, Scarborough, Whitby, Harrogate, Hull & Doncaster

Cheryl Alsop qualified as a Registered General Nurse at Hull University in 2005 and has spent much of her career to date in a Nursing Home environment. Over the years, Cheryl has developed lots of experience in Continence issues and brings these skills with her to the Nightingale team.

Outside of work, Cheryl loves to travel and also enjoys baking and cooking as well as spending time with her 2 grandchildren.

Melanie Morgan
Nightingale Nurse Specialist

Area Covered: South Wales

Melanie completed her Diploma in Orthopaedics before continuing her general training in Cardiff. She went on to become a District Nurse before spending 4 years as a Stoma Nurse Advisor. Continence has always been of interest to Melanie and she looks forward to using her experience as a Nightingale Nurse Advisor.

In her spare time, Melanie enjoys spending time with family and her dog whilst cheering Wales on in the rugby!

Naomi Lisk
Nightingale Nurse Advisor

Area Covered: North East England: Huddersfield, Halifax, Wakefield and Bradford

Naomi started working in the healthcare industry in 2004, having completed a degree in Public Relations. Working in Marketing for various healthcare manufacturers, managing various products including incontinence pads through to macerators.

In 2015, Naomi completed a degree in Adult Nursing. During her training she worked on a variety of wards including gastro-surgical wards where she started to build a knowledge of Stoma Care. Naomi went on to work in District Nursing after qualifying, developing a wide and varied knowledge of Nursing and undertaking all aspects of Continence care working for the day service and the Out of Hours Service.

Naomi brings a variety of experiences to the role with Nightingale and looks forward to continue to develop as a Nightingale Nurse Advisor.

Tracey Prime
Healthcare Assistant

Area Covered: Nursing Homes across Northern England

Tracey first studied at Loughborough Cooperative College gaining an NVQ in Retail Management. She then progressed to become an Assistant Manageress for two major department stores. It was after the birth of her son she then proceeded to change career paths to work for a local Home Care Provider, gaining an NVQ in Healthcare. She enjoys working in the community and having a direct influence on the health and well-being of those she cares for.

In her spare time, Tracey loves to spend time with her family and close friends, long walks with her little dog Alfie and going on foreign holidays.
